Rise High students got their hands on valuable evidence to learn important concepts and tools that are critical to forensics investigators. These included latent finger prints, DNA, bullets, substances, and suspicious pens. They got to learn forensic techniques by solving individual mini-cases. They were fantastic at it! It is important that they learned these real-life tools because they will have to work together on solving a bigger cases next time! Problem-solving is so much fun!!!

This was possible thanks to members from the NYS Troopers Forensics Investigation Center, Lori Bromberg and Amber Losavio, and Forensics Intern from Schenectady High School and Clarkson University, Desmin Showmaker. They delivered an outstanding and engaging session. And thanks to SUNY Schenectady County Community College for hosting us.
