Back from mid-winter break, our 6th graders initiated a new module on Weather & Climate today! Students learned about the difference between these two, and were introduced to key concepts of pressure and temperature that they will build on throughout the module. Clarkson University Graduate School MAT (Masters of Arts in Teaching) students and alumni led this great session, representing the Schenectady City, Guilderland, and North Colonie School Districts.
Meanwhile, our 7th graders continued their module on Robotics led by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Coding&&Community, and were introduced to the concept of sensors and how to incorporate it into their programming design. So fun to see them tackle the challenges!
Thanks to our partner, Clarkson University Graduate School, for hosting us!
