Our 7th graders went from frisbees to airplanes! They learned more about the physics behind flight in the context of airplanes, the role of the different parts of the airplanes, and got to explore many airplanes and a simulator.
While the 7th graders were looking at the clouds, the 6th graders went on a space mission to launch a rover on a comet! They had to play multiple roles both in space and at the mission control station. That took a lot of testing, communication, and decision-making!
Thank you Empire State Aerosciences Museum (ESAM) in Glenville, NY for welcoming us and hosting such an informational and fun session! And thanks to MiSci – Museum of Innovation & Science, Schenectady for the great experience.
