Got soul? Our 7th graders do! They initiated a module on the Science of Music. They learned about basic concepts behind music and why and how we hear what we hear; the difference between noise and music; and they started working on their very special instrument that is all a wind, string, and percussion instrument.

While the 7th graders were jamming their own instruments, our 8th graders entered the world of bionics as they wrapped up their module on prosthetics by introducing the electronics components. The exercised their coding skills and finished their fingers prosthetics challenge.

Special thanks to our friends from GE Global Research Center, Mark Vermilyea and Christina Vasil for bringing their beat to our 7th graders, and our friends RPI Engineering Ambassadors for a great module on Prosthetics. We also want to thank our partner Clarkson University Graduate School for hosting us!
