Thank You, Team 20! Learning Robotics and Making Friends!

November 17, 2021

We want to express a big THANK YOU to our friends from the Shenendehowa Central School District’s Robotics Team, Team 20!! Our robotics interest group met virtually for 5 weeks. During those 5 weeks, our students learned key coding aspects for robotics using Scratch, they coded their own virtual robot, engaged in some friendly competition, and saw one of Team 20’s competition robots in action. More importantly, our students networked and socialized while learning with students from a neighboring community. The way we grow together is by building bridges and friendships. And why not doing so while learning some cool STEM!?
Special thanks to Shen students Lauren Malek, Emily Yin, Aidan Westphal, Alvin Le, Conge Losee, Max Turner, Michael Lipschultz, Nick Oktyabrsky, Jun Simons, and Ethan Gibbs. What a wonderful group of high school students! You did an amazing job! Also special thanks to Mr. Myers, Shen’s Technology Teacher who guided the students and helped support this collaboration from beginning to end!
On behalf of our Rise High students and community, thank you!
